BIOGRAPHY

Mumbai based artist, Rupali Sandeep Thombare is equally involved in Calligraphy and Writing along with her profession as UI-UX designer. She believes calligraphy is a kind of meditation through which she expresses herself in her voyage of art. She loves to do experiments with her styles in Art. After taking various classes at ‘Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy’, she mainly got attracted towards the beauty of Indian scripts which results into her exploration of 6 Indian Classical languages(Sanskrit, Odia, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam) which was presented at Jehangir Art Gallery in 2020 as Indian Multi-lingual Calligraphy – ‘Bhashabharati’. She believes that each alphabet can be a design which needs to be explored more. She is continue working on different Indian scripts (Maithili, Modi, Ancient scripts and many more) and associated cultures through her art.
